D3atSea is for adventurers looking for a good amount of social interaction with still loads of freedom to enjoy the other festivities the cruise has to offer. Make new friends and relax on board one of the greatest cruise ships in the world with WORLD-CLASS DMs. Guests participate in exciting games of DnD across 6 days, and each game is led by one of our world-class Dungeon Masters, all aboard Royal Caribbean’s The Allure of The Seas.
D3atSea is for when you don’t need a vacation, you need an ADVENTURE! Over the course of the cruise, each player will attend four sessions with the DM of their choosing. During each session, players will spend at least 4 hours playing in a custom DnD campaign on board the ship. For the rest of the time, you can explore the ship, participate in our special events, frolic on the shore of one of our stunning ports, and so much more.
We will be adhering to all guidelines set forth from the CDC regarding the health and safety of passengers on board the operation of a cruise ship. We are fortunate enough to be sailing with Royal Caribbean who were instrumental in working with the government to get those guidelines in place. Royal Caribbean put together an entire board of medical professionals to both ensure they were operating at a high standard of health and safety and to help the CDC solidify their guidelines throughout the cruise industry. Royal Caribbean was the STANDARD in setting those guidelines. More information can be found here- https://www.royalcaribbean.com/healthy-cruising-panel
Of course!! Many of our guests have never played before. You do not need any prior experience with DnD or other TTRPGs in order to enjoy yourself aboard D3atSea. The campaign you will participate in is written specifically for YOUR table for only at THIS EVENT. It will be new to everyone, and the DM will be there throughout the Cruise to guide and assist you. We’ll also have AMAZING staff on hand for the duration to assist you in any way needed at the gaming table.
Dungeon Masters, or more commonly called DMs, are the people who run the games. They are in charge of ensuring everyone has fun and help guide the adventurers through their story. All of our DMs will be well seasoned with both new and veteran players alike. We’ve brought some of the greatest DMs in the world to run the games at this event. Once final payment has been made, a questionnaire will go out to all adventurers where you will select which DMs (choose 3) you would most like to play with. Prioritization will be given based upon how early you book! The earlier you book, the more likely you are to get your top DM choice! That said, regardless of who you end up with, you are in store for an absolutely amazing custom adventure with one of the best DMs in the world!
Campaigns D3atSea are written by each DM for the event. Each game is a reflection of that DM’s style. This ensures a variety of styles & games for everyone to enjoy that will keep you coming back for years to come!
There will be one session per day for each table lasting for 4 hours. This will leave time open for players to play other games, explore the ship, go ashore on port days, or participate in many other activities. In total, you will play at least 16 hours of DnD during the cruise.
You are requested to attend all your table’s campaign sessions. Activities during all other times are optional.
Your luxurious cabin aboard The Allure of The Seas! 16 hours of a CUSTOM DnD adventure led by a world class DM of your choosing broken into 4 sessions! Access to all of our private evening events which will feature anything from contests to Q&A panels to even an Improv night with our Celebrity DMs! Fear not adventurer! We have pricing just for them as well! They will be able to attend all of the special events with you but will not get a seat at the table as they are an NPC (Non Player Companion)!
The goal of our team is to be here for you before, during and after the cruise so that you can focus on relaxing and having fun. If you have more questions, feel free to complete the Contact Us form on this page and someone will get back to you within two shakes of a dragon’s tail, or you can email firstname.lastname@example.org. If you would prefer to speak to human, we hear you…or we will hear you, on the phone, when you call us at 760-459-2321. Don will be able to answer any questions related to the cruising vacation and travel aspects of our adventure. Jason, our lead gaming coordinator, will be the go to guy for (do I really need to say it?) gaming related questions.
